Hello! My name is Noelle Joy and I am glad you are here.
Here's a little bit about me.
I'm really into plants. Specifically medicinal herb plants. I was an herb farmer and managed a medicinal herb program at a university teaching farm for 5 years. I am very close to finishing a phd program in horticulture, where I’m studying how drying methods impact the medicinal chemistry of hemp flower. The only requirement left to graduate is finishing writing my dissertation. I recently became unemployed, and while I finish school (and heal from mold illness) I’m participating in WWOOF and working on a diversified farm in exchange for food and housing. At the farm I am sleeping in a tent and building out outdoor living spaces because I always wanted to learn how to camp and I feel my best when I am deeply connected to nature.
I feel an insatiable curiosity for exploring the mental, physical, emotional and spiritual components that make up the experience of divine souls living in human bodies. I said to myself in Nov 2018 "I will do whatever it takes to be free", and I meant it. To know and live my truth fully feels as important as breathing.
So I am on kinda a wild journey and I don't know where it's headed yet (or what I will do after I graduate).
I write a weekly newsletter that I send out on Sunday mornings where I share my journey as it unfolds in real time. I can be serious in my writing, but I am also very silly and love to laugh (I hope that comes through too). Oh and you can expect me to always have lots of words. ha
If this sounds interesting or valuable to you, I invite you to sign up for my newsletter.
